This infographic from Alibaba’s Tmall highlights some of the mind-blowing numbers behind the B2C giant’s record-breaking online sales event on November 11, 2014. Overall, sales grew over 63% year-over-year to RMB 57.1 billion ($9.3 billion), with 42.6% of sales coming from the mobile website compared to just 15.3% in 2013.  As a point of comparison, Americans spent $2.9 billion online during Black Friday and Cyber Monday combined in 2013. 2014天猫双十一全天成交额再创新高,突破571亿元。在当日下午一点半时就已超过去年的交易额(350亿元),达到362亿元。去年总成交额与今年相比暴增近60%,其中移动端成交占比达到42.6%。单店销售第一名是小米天猫旗舰店,在凌晨1点15分交易额已达5亿元。在新鲜出炉的全国“败家”前五名的省份有:广东、浙江、江苏、上海及四川。[Tmall & Marketwatch]
